I like the rear diffuser. But u would be the only one with the jdm rear. I wanted to do the jdm rear with the fog light in the back. Havent seen one of those on an Evo yet.

There is a WW with a JDM/Euro rear with the Euro rear fog light somewhere down there (I almost want to say Olympia, but can't remember). I forget his name on here, but it looks great. I suppose that would be a Euro rear.

Yeah, I think Ive seen that guy ONCE. Thrilla/John is the only one I see on a regular basis down here with a JDM rear. Even the 4 or 5 extra Evo guys down here that aren't on the forums dont have JDM rears.

BTW, I just got a quote from Russell. $506+ tax in WW and another $350+ tax for paint from Crossroads Collision. Looking at $1000 + another $300 for a Demonwerks crashbeam. Im gonna take one more look around for something on a JDM rear and if I cant find anything, diffuser it is!

So I ended up buying the Rexpeed diffuser, Rexpeed side spats, rexpeed exhaust shield, and Carbign c/f license plate holder (rear).

Lancershop is actually just some guy with a website and he drop ships stuff. Trust, I actually figured out where he's at, because I am in Michigan and wanted to pick up parts. He does offer things that are hard to find, but expect to wait.

Also JDM Bumper = looks good and no functionality

USDM Bumper + APR diffuser = functional

nice job, Derek. I think you can say you're the first in WA to rock this setup. Looking forward to seeing it!

Thanks Dan, maybe Ill start a trend and everyone will start ditching their JDM rears for stock US rears to do this.....riiiight. lol

Casper, I agree with that statement. But I suppose all a JDM rear owner would have to do is get a diffuser for it as well and they'd be set. Still like the look of the JDM rear better but maybe Ill like the US more after I figure out a way to get rid of the sidemarker lights.

Thats a lot of cf. Congrats on the purchase.

On a side note, I've seen an AS Evo with the APR diffuser many time around Seattle.

Yeah? Damn, I guess originality is out of the door. Oh well, I think it'll be a nice change and something different. And yeah, alot of CF. Hopefully its not too much and it'll go with the scheme of CF accents. Nothing big like hood or trunk or anything.

It's all good, with our 4+ year old cars, I'm sure everything has been done before...

I guess I need to put my arp rear diffuser on before Derek does then so he's copying me.
