Advice on hpde driver training programs...

I'd like to rake my car out to PIR for a lapping day sometime this summer. Seems like there are several different groups that offer driver training. For example, I believe the BMW and Porsche clubs both have events at PIR this summer. I've heard good things about CSCC (Cascade), but I'm going to be out of town for their upcoming event in June.

Any recommendations for which clubs are good and, more importantly, which clubs I should stay away from? I'm only interested in clubs that have events this summer at PIR.

I believe the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle has a Lapping/Training Day down at PIR usually a week or so after their Lapping Day at Pacific Raceways...Not really sure if they are doing it thise year down at PIR though...They have some very good instructors with their club...Either last year or the year before they had a couple instructors from the ProFormance Racing School out their instructing...They are open for different makes running with them...I've ran with them the last 3 years out at Pacific and I'm running with them on July 21st at Pacific again this year...I want to run at PIR soon one of these days...I like the look of that track...Heres the website if you want to check it out and look at the schedule...

There really isn't any club or school to stay away from. Any club or school that offers a class/track day at PIR will be beneficial. Every club have instructors who either all race themselves, or have a crap ton of lapping experience. Or else they won't be in the car instructing. Pick any that fits your schedule and go have some fun.

Ive done few events with cascade and its been really nice. Its cheaper then some other clubs, about $200 per whole day with instructor in you car all day.
I am not making June event either, but will make August one. Any questions ask
