Dash Lighting

Hey,

Has anyone in the Nothwest area done any Dash lighting modifications to their 08'+ Lancer? I am thinking about doing so, going from the stock Red to a Green. I am wondering what kind of can-of-worms I am about to open up in doing so.

Thanks,

-Hans

I haven't done and evo but I did a S10 (yeah back when mini trucks were cool) and my talon. It was straight forward just taking the panel out and popping some tabs and some small screws. I wouldn't see why the evo's would be much different. I could be wrong though.

Some you can just simply change the lights out or buy a replacement guage face to put on. The talon I put leds in the back, cut out colored lexan sheet, and sanded the orange color off the back of the guage faces to get a different color.

I saw some threads about this seller before. Just threw up on ebay and there it is. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mitsu...s#ht_672wt_870

Looks like all you will have to do is change your overlays.

I read on another lancer forums that there will be a lot of removing led's and soldering, I read that you have to be pretty good at it considering you're doing it on a small bases. Let me know how it goes I would love to get mine done also

I have all of my interior lights as well as my aem gauges changed over to blue. I was actually the first car Acree did. I can tell you he won't tell you much. It takes alot of time and he is really serious about the quality of his work, because of this he doesn't want bad conversions saying he told them how to do it.

Mike , I am doing the research on how to get it done, and it sounds like a big task so far but honestly I am up to the challenge , I just got to get all the parts right before I start tearing things apart. I will let you know what i come up with if/when I ever get the project comepleted.
