OP: I love the blue Evos- especially w/ those rims. I've seen them white on a Blue evo as well and it's just as sexy! I'm glad USAA is going to take care of it- they're really good about taking care of their customers.

idk if this would make you feel better... but here you go:

I completely agree- I think its because of our "system" that we have so many repeat offenders. Steal something? Get a finger lopped off. Rape a child? Get castrated. Of course it'd be difficult for the first decade or so- but when people start seeing others without hands or d*cks, I'd bet you they'd think twice before pulling off some dumb s*it like this.

what part of the portland area do you live in so i know to stay away from it next time i am down there? someone needs to invent a wheel lock that is incredibly hard to break into

I live over the west hill off of Barnes Rd. It's probably one of the safest areas in Portland to live in.

Those skylines is more or less what happened to me a few years back. On the wheel locks topic, any pro wheel thief can bypass them. That was the reason I didn't get them in the first place. They will stop amateurs (like the ones who stole my wheels) so that's why I do have them now.

Made me save up and buy a place with a garage. They'll have to steal the opener code (which is doable) but if they want it that bad, then rock on.

Obviously the thieves don't read EvoM, otherwise they'd know that Rotas are garbage!

In all seriousness, bummer about the wheels.

I want to thank everyone for their support this past week. I have some good news. Insurance pulled through and I just ordered an set of matte black Ray's Gram Light 57D 18x9.5 +22 offset and Hankook RS-3's from Andrew at Gruppe-S. Andrew has been a big help all week working with me and USAA. He was very easy to get a hold of and always called me back. I will also be installing an alarm with a tilt sensor and a paging system.

A beautiful choice. What type of alarm are you going with? I'd eventually like to get one as well now that I've seen this...
