Noob Question ^_^

I'm thinking of retrofitting the JDM 8 MR headlights, and was wondering what size is the low beam bulb, I know that they're D2S housing, but the website is still asking me the options of H1, 9005, 9006, H11, H7.
Here is the link:

Thanks in advance,

D2S is a HID bulb, I think the ones you listed are all halogen. Try setting your vehicle as a 2006 Evo 9, with HID's.

Thats what I thought, I guess I just have to call them up to narrow it down.

I have the JDM 8 MR's, the retro fit is only for changing out the crappy projectors for some Acura TSX's

You shouldn't need to retrofit anything, JDM MR should be HID too.

Yes I know, I have afermarket HID's now, my USDM Headlights were non-HID's, then got the JDM's, but unfortunately the JDM projectors doesnt spread the beam evenly, it has a lot of weird focus points, where the retro fit TSX projectors has a smooth and even beam pattern. Also, the stock USDM non-HID bulbs are, I believe, are not D2S's where the JDM's are D2S's so I have to convert the whole thing anyways. All in all, I just want to see better on the road with the JDM's

you just need to change the height of the headlight, the projectors wernt set i left them stock and theyre fine. Very good fill also, adjust the height and such and they will be even. lol i left them because i didnt mind where the lights shot, the hid is a D2S which is your main bulb, the inner most foglight is a H11 stock with the JDM its a 9006. and your high is the same as stock.

Thanks Keenan for helping with the numers of the bulbs I'm not saying that you cant see with the JDM's, I just always wanted to upgrade with the TSX projectors because the beam spreads out a lot smoother and evenly, and showed more lighting, I just like to be a bit more on the safer side.

Oh yeah, what is the harness type of the non-HID light? I think that was what they were asking.

Haha, thanks Keenan. I've tried looking everywhere, and its only showing me the numbers for the HID, and not the non-HID harness number. Does anyone know the number for the non-HID harness???

I've also wanted to do the TSX mod. Very brilliant looking when completed. I might have to look into that in a bit.

As for JDM headlights, I've noticed mine are reverse than my OEM (which makes sense) so that it illuminates further down the road on the driver side. US cars will typically have a beam pattern that illuminates the passenger side further than the driver side, so you aren't blinding oncoming traffic.

*edit - I've been meaning to adjust them, but haven't taken the time.
