Even the 05 wings go to SH!7
Not to long of a bad story, but with a happy ending so far.
It started a year ago with the CF 2005 GSR wing on my EB started to show fade in the clear.
Took the wing off to take it to a shop the Ryan.Kauz knows all too much about
In the end all they did was reshoot it with more clear saying that's all they could do vs sanding it down and then respray. If I had know that's all they could do I would have never had them do it!! (cost was $150, which I never got my money back for the SH!77ty job).
So now I had a wing that had fade with a 3-D effect going. Looked pretty bad, unless you are into that kind of thing.
So I took it down to my friends at JM Detail in Tacoma - 72nd and South Tacoma Way. My friend Johnny (owner) has always taken care of me - whether its clear bra, detail (no detail on the Evo - I do that with my other supper, not always spectacular, will steal your mom to have sex with her, EB brother), or window tinting.
I had Seth (their vinyl guy) try to see if he could tackle the wing with the CF vinyl they have. Initially on first look Seth said he'd probably have to do two pieces to do the wing, but could hide it underneath, making it virtually hidden.
When I picked it up yesterday, he was actually able to do it with one piece and was able to get the inner CF sides to match perfectly.
They did a great job and I'm really happy with the results vs the tragedy I had before.
I highly recommend them - you can even tell them I sent ya!
Questions? LMK
