I think I caught him turtle-waxing it once.

*edit - I didn't even see his post before mine when I made this one. I believe Jared and others that road race swear by the APS
Reminds me I ran out of turtle wax, crap

Synchronic compact in pull style with outter port only works well, it isnt perfect- but I think it is the best option currently available!

It's been a successful valve - are you saying it is no longer being produced? Wonder why they would stop....

During your personal testing of Synchronic vs APS, you would go APS as well?

Someone send me their APS and I'll see if it's better than my Synchronic.

No experience with the APS, but I have experience with the HKS SSQV, HKS Racing type II, Tial, GReddy Type S and RS, synapse, and Forge. I would recommend all suggested minus the SSQV, and both GReddys. The ssqv surges too much and seems to have a smaller release area than other BOVs. HKS Racing Type II is great but costs an arm and a leg. Currentlt running the Forge recirc (black) on my black IX and like it alot. Tial makes a recirc BOV now, but Tials use springs instead of an adjustment screw so adjusting it can be a PITA. I have the ssqv on my silver and cant wait to get rid of it. I havent seen any complaints about synapse BOVs.

Perrin BOVs look nice too but rather on the spendy side.

What is your daughter going to think when she realizes her dad has little girly arms that can't change his own TiAL BOV springs?

With just bolt ons, ER tune, and every ugly mod you could get your hands on, I would just go with a OEM IX BOV.

But lets fact it, if it doesnt have contrasting colors, rattle can paint, LED's or tacky presentation then you wont want it.

So I say go with whatever is brightest in color, possibly annodized, AND whatever is the absolute loudest BOV you can get.... Just so it can be heard over your external dump, exhaust and driver complaints.

Its a nice piece for sure, and probably the easiest adjustment possible. Just turn the dial.

I hate you *snug*. I actually planned on going with a tial on my silver car asap. Just saying for the fact alot of people want simple adjustment of a set screw and a Tial isnt that. I have no problem crackin a tial open to change springs, Im actually looking forward to it if I go that route. Im really liking the forge on el negro so I might go the same route on the silver. Need to find a way to cleanly mod the jm fab 4" intake to go back to recirc.

I have the new Synchronic and right now it's causing surge issues for me at peak boost, but for daily drivability it's excellent, especially compared to the stock BOV. I should be able to get it to stop surging, I just have to find the right settings.
