Autobella.

Don't take your car there.

Here's the aggravating story as to why, it should be short and too the point.

Few months ago i saw they had a goole deal online for half off an entire detailing, pretty sweet deal right??!?! so, i bought it and the next day or two i attempt to schedule it, enter all the information on web put in the days i can be available to get it in there for the detail.

I then wait a week or two and hear nothing back, thats ok. i can manage being on the internet and filling out a simple form more than once. fill it out again wait a few weeks and hear nothing back.

Ooook, fill out the form one more time to get my car detailed. thinking, maybe they want my money but don't want to work for it. Maybe This is an elaborate scam from some nigerian price... who the hell knows at this point. Wait a few more weeks and finally out of the blue i get this e-mail

"We are booking into the third week of December at this time.

CAIO
Tom Rennie

autobellausa.com"

At first i had no idea who this was or what it pertained to, after a few seconds i figure it out, this guy WANTS TO HELP ME SCHEDULE MY DETAIL!!!!!!!!11! even if it completely defeats the purpose of having it detailed prior to the bad weather and winter. Well i was wrong, he didn't want to help me at all.

obviously a tad bit upset about the amount of time this took,(I bought the deal 2nd week of august) I'm a little upset but i can be a forgiving person.

i send him this e-mail back
"Okay, whats the first day i can get in there then? can it be done same day?

Mike."

in which he replies: "You should schedule as we are always quite a ways out"

Me thinking, wait a dang minute.... I've attempted to schedule, multiple times the way your website asks. In addition to that i feel like asking you when i can come in, is implying that i would like to schedule a date to drop my car off.... i guess not. the rest of the short interaction goes like this...

Me:
"Tom, I've tried to schedule 3 times online. This is the first time anyone has even gotten back to me. How about I get a refund of my money and take it somewhere else?"

Can you accommodate that?"

Tom Rennie:
"No, you have to call the original vendor you did the transaction with..."

Now, am i missing something??? I understand i got a full detail for half off, which is a great deal!!! but at the same time shouldn't they being doing their best to help those who will promote their business and customer service? do you think they would have to give details at half off just to get people in there because this is what their "help" is like.

Lemme know what you think. all i know is i don't care how much of a discount on service they give me, my car is never going there.

Mike.

Why do people still not just call companies in the first place? Talking to an actual person will guarantee that you get a real answer and they can't say "Oh, we didn't get your form".

Also, Ryan can probably give you a better detail than any company, should talk to him

I guess I am at fault for not calling them, the instructions were to specifically schedule online and not by phone though so, I have feeling I know what a phone call would look like... If they even answer their phone.

Well, yea. Not saying you're at fault, but if I ever have questions or something like that goes awry the first time, I call. Hopefully it wasn't an expensive Groupon.

Just one more reason why Groupon isn't a great service. I've had great luck with LivingSocial so far though, so hopefully they're not ***-raping the companies they work with as badly as Groupon.

Either way, see Ryan for a detail
