Deer are dumb *edit pics added*

Hit a deer today in my month old evo x. Very bummed. Just a reminder to all you other NW people. Deer are not smart at all, so be careful. I had no way to avoid this one since it jumped out from behind a bush and I didn't see it til I was hitting it. I guess now would be the time to put on a new front bumper. I'll put some pics up soon

Finally got around to getting some pics of the carnage. It's in the shop now getting the new varis front put on, and I put an ets fmic and hardpipes on this weekend since the bumper was coming off anyway. Here's some before pics, I'll add some after pics when I get it back from the shop. I can't wait.

That's 4500 dollars worth of damage right there for ya

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Glad it was only bumper and not up and into the windshielf and possibly you.

I used to have those deer whistle things on mine when I went back and forth over the pass. I actually think they worked, cause I never saw deer foraging on the side of Hwy 2 like I did before puting them on.

Man that really blows, I've been extremely lucky, missed a small herd, going 65mph on my GSXR. Lucky I slowed down for that turn, they took off across my path and I was already on the brakes!!!! All I saw was a brown blurr as I got to about 90 degree's from them. I think there's still a skid mark on the road and on my seat!!! LOL!!

Man, that sucks! But you're right for them not being too bright. LOL. One time on my way home from work a deer just jumped out of no where from the bushes and stared right at me for a couple of seconds as I hit my brakes. Sheesh!!! Luckily the deer ran off and no one was hurt.

I feel your pain..........same thing happen to me except the ******** in front of me hit one and if flew into the wood about 10 feet in the air. So I stop and wait and the retarded thing comes hauling out of the woods into my right fender and smashes its head on my hood then ran back into the woods. I was like wtf did that really just happen.

Should consider the 09version Varis bumper. It looks great. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...-evo-10-a.html
