I wish I had it on video... the one time I actually DID get stuck, my brother hooked up to me with his Bronco and took up the slack in the chain at idle. That is normal, except that once the chain was taught my Outie started to move... That beheamoth just dragged me behind it like nothing was even there. I was in nuetral, and he never once hit the gas. Keep in mind, the chain was short so he was actually IN the mud pit that I was stuck in. It was impressive.

Where did you buy them from? For some reason I cannot find a legit online Mitsu parts dealer.

I just bought them from the parts department at my local dealer. The guy quoted my I think $60 and I hopped on eBay from my phone and found that was about $5-$6 cheaper than online so I grabbed them.

For that little bit of money the front end. obviously, looks DRASTICALLY different, and that part of the car gets more compliments than any other. When someone see's it I usually get a "I like the big 'mouth' on the front" or "the 'mouth' looks mean"

Also, you could accomplish this task very easily with some PlastiDip and about half an hour.

Check out www.DipYourCar.com for a how-to on taping off parts so you don't peel off your new coating with the tape.

I can't think of another small SUV in this price range with more ground clearance. 8.5" is A LOT nowadays!

The best I can get the new bare bones Forester is 22.6k, and I should of mentioned "good looking small suv" This 2013 base AWD, I can get in the 17k range. Huge difference for me.

Yeah, that is true.

Understood.
Can't argue there... No other (current) CUVs can match the looks of the Mitsu O.sports, that is for sure.

... well, the only thing that I've seen that may beat it is a "concept" > Honda Urban SUV

Just drove through our first severe down pour..
The rain was coming down sideways and the roads were flooded up to tops of street curbs. Had no problems plowing through them in 4WD Auto mode. The stock tires did fine.
