Haha...well, I think I'm just going to get the smoked LED's that are for the EVO X's because I believe they're the same size from the way the pictures look.

Not sure if it was changed from the start of this thread but 2014 fog light bulbs are listed in the manual as H8

Hello everyone,

I just replaced my headlight bulbs and I'm now looking to do the front marker lights (above the headlights)

My manual says it is P# WY5W

Is this the same as a 168 bulb?

Also, how difficult are these ones to pop out and replace for this who have did it.

Thanks!

Question Vanity Light Replacement Bulbs

Does anyone have any idea about replacement bulbs for the vanity mirrors? I have a 2015 OS SE and they burn very hot! I'd like to replace them with LEDs, but the bulb is so tiny (wedge like). My dealership states that the bulb cannot be replaced. They would have to replace the entire visor. I think this is extreme overkill. There must be a way to replace the bulbs.

Thanks! I just ordered a few T10's (license plate lights) and some 31mm festoons (map lights).

I'm not sure about the cargo area light yet, because I haven't been able to remove the housing. But either way, if it's a festoon style or wedge style, I'll be covered as I ordered 4 sets of each. lol

Also, being that I have a 2015, it appears that I do not have a glove box light at all. I have the Premium package with Navigation. There are no floorboard lights and no glove box light. I am actually interested in installing floorboard led lights (white), as it doesn't seem to be that difficult to do.

The only interior lights I have are my 2 map lights, 2 vanity mirror lights and one cargo area light (above the subwoofer).

Am I missing anything? lol

I love my panoramic moon roof! However, I think that should have put a cabin light in, just behind the glass. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of light in the cabin. That is why I'm installing the Xenon/Pure White LEDs. My husband is a musician, and the brighter lights will help him when loading his gear at night.

I have a 2015 OS SE. There is a light in the glove box, but its very dim and a bluish shade. I havent had any luck with changing my map/reading lights to LED. I tried sylvania and phillips, and one other brand I cant recall. All 3 I tried just flickered dimly. I did change the license plate lights to Phillips LED sucessfully.

IIRC Mits offers an upgrade kit for LED map/reading lights.

These are NOT map/reading lights. I'm asking about the lights that are in the sun visors...next to the mirrors. They are called VANITY lights.

I already have the map lights/reading lights covered. Is there anyone who can answer my questions properly instead of continuing to bring up the lights I already have covered?

Again...for clarification. The bulb size I am looking for is for the lights next to the mirror that is in the sun visors (aka VANITY lights).

I'm sorry, but I am very frustrated that I asked a plain question and I'm getting replies that have NOTHING to do with my question.

Guess what ? I wasn't responding to YOUR question, but that of jleban1 who posted above " I havent had any luck with changing my map/reading lights to LED". My bad for answering his question rather than yours. Next time I will be far more specific for you. Oh, BTW, you can't change those vanity lamps in most recent cars. Same thing for my Nissan. My very old Dodge Caravan(s) you could - but now you have to replace the entire visor. Dimmable LEDs in the Nissan visor/vanity lights are part of that reason. Like household dimmable LEDs they cost too much. Oh look - I answered your question.

i Googled it (just like you could have done), and NONE of the major (and minor) aftermarket LED vendors list anything for a vanity mirror/visor light replacement. it looks like the dealer wasn't lying to you.

you may want to try adding some LED strip lights as additional lighting to the cargo area for your husband's late night gear loading. you would have to run some wire to the fusebox and use a fusetap to tie in to the map lights/rear cargo light.

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Fuse-Shape-...s-p/10-020.htm But as mentioned, I have only found these bulbs replaceable on older cars.
