Thanks guys.
It's good to be back.
We made our salesman work for his pay this time around (we went back to the same dealership and directly to the same salesman). He was a great guy (and that's Very unusual to say about a car salesman too, I KNOW.)
And, Trust me, we WENT to several different dealerships of other brands (including luxury, BEFORE we came back to Mitsu... My wife really did want another brand of car, initially...) None of those other dealerships showed the level of commitment as this guy did, which is very unexpected in the auto Sales industry.
Actually, some of those other dealerships ignored us quite blatantly as we walked their lot. A Toyota dealer and Right next door to their Lexus... THAT really shocked us.
Suffice it to say, in the end we are quite happy with our (original) choice of SUV and come back to the Outlander Sport. It's hard to beat the warranty, Features, and price.
ha, very funny. You must have our compact SUV confused with another brand >
We're not driving a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, so the word fast isn't even in the equation
Roger that!
Out of the available color choices that they had immediately on hand... they were out of silvers in AWD (so it was Black, Blue, Red, Grey or White). We avoided Black completely at first due to the Texas Heat in summer. But, looking at those other colors in person it just made sense to go with black. It does look the best with the monochromatic theme.
Thank you.

Of course.. I couldn't leave you guys.
Believe it or not... You are helping me recover from this bad "incident"
I consider you all my friends.
And, like they say, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."
Right now, I'm trying my best to learn forgiveness (of that driver)
That's one tough hurdle to overcome...

I have to ask though, what made you change colors?

who knows...
It's definitely safe to presume she was NOT paying attention to what's in front of her and her speed.
Now, what was she doing that distracted her to this Incompetent state... That I do not know.
But, let's not cloud this thread with such comments/thoughts, I'll leave that in the "sacrifice" thread.
I would like to focus on the positive things and all those MODs (I had planned to have done Before) on this new O.Sport!

So, Hopefully, indeed...
I pray for her.
Well..
The dealership were out of the silvers in AWD. (so it was Black, Blue, Red, Grey or White) < These were the available color choices that they had immediately on hand... **
Actually, they DID have a silver SE AWD Premium with NAV plus Everything else under the sun, so it was MSRPed at $30+K. That was too high to dicker from.
The black one had exactly what we had in the "old" silver plus few small packages and was very close to the price of what we paid originally.
**
It would have taken another 2-3 weeks IF we placed an order for the specific one we wanted + we wouldn't be able to negotiate another good deal if we did that.
We had been in a rental car (for a month already) and the cost of rental was accumulating quick!

Black is nice if you can take care of it and keep it clean. You seem to be enthusiastic about your car so I assume you'll have no problem with those tasks. Even with my white car I park as far away from people as I can, almost always next to a curb or end cap so I can leave extra room between me and the other car. People have no respect for their own property, let alone yours. (this is especially evident at the college I attend)

I too go out of my way looking for "isolated" parking spots when I drive. Luckily, my wife has her own underground (& gated) parking spot at her office. So, we're fortunate when it comes to avoiding door dents and abuses by other drivers**... (knock on wood)

Except for that ditsy driver with our other O.Sport...!
