Scuff Plate

Does anyone know of anyone making off road parts for the outlander sport?
Like a scuff plate?
I think if i can't find one pretty soon i may try and mock one up out of cardboard to take to a machine shop to see if i can have one made. I want a nice thick Aluminum Pannel to cover and protect the oil pan and under chassis of the front of the motor for when i get her off road.
I hated taking the plastic one off my evo 9 everytime i did an oil change, so i want one that can protect the oil filter from the front, but still give acess to a quick oil change as well.

Or,

From the pictures that Asian imported one looks to be roughly as thick as a soda can

My cousins in the Philippines probably made these badboys. Just blame me if they fold like paper. Holla!

You bet.
Let us know what you end up going with... One of those or a custom fab.

A little help (from anyone)

Can someone look under their engine bay and confirm if there suppose to be a splash shield (of some sort) to cover the oil pan & oil filter, mine is just completely exposed to the elements...

TIA.

Thanks.

Alright.
100% confirmed.
I just looked at the vehicles on the dealer lot - NO shield/cover of any sort directly below the oil pan & oil filter...

Kind of lame.

Side Note:
Talked to the parts supervisor.. They don't have anything listed in their computer nor have knowledge of any other accessory supplier that have a "belly pan" for our O.sports (currently).

I don't think the second one will work. It shows the engine bay to be quite different than ours, most notably the exhaust:
