Ironically, I think it was your post that sparked my interest and didn't know if my situation was one-off or yours. So I went back to my friend's shop to ask the installer if he had heard of the situation, in interest to help you out or whoever it was that mentioned the same situation.

That's where he told me of how it would normally work(your situation), and said there are very few cars that have the same issues. Unfortunately, the guy talks like Rain Man(literally), and goes off-topic worse than some threads on some horrible forums. He gets to talking and honestly, I can't even keep up with his conversation, but I just leave at, as a genius. I swear he's autistic, but my friend who owns the stereo shop says, he just a smart old man.(He's in his 40's).

Sorry for the off-topic Wesley, and looking very good on all the nice additions you have done this week.

Just ordered my LEDs, I went with Vleds because I had trouble checking out of SuperBrightLeds, also ended up saving $30.

I chose red interior LEDs to preserve my night vision, since I'm already use to it from the Army. I definitely need my night vision because I just drove for the first time tonight with 5% tints and it was no freaking joke! I can't wait to get my backup camera in, because I couldn't see jack **** backing up, and I couldn't roll my windows down, because my tint is still curing, lol.

The White LED bulbs will be used for the front parking markers, and license plate.

I wondered about that 5% at night... You need vision like a cat with that dark of a tint.

Any how, you won't have those red interior LEDs on while you driving though, right? So, why would it matter if they are red

There are countless scenarios when you or your passangers need to turn on the lights for whatever reason such as looking for tissue after sneezing, etc..

Just installed the FlexyFrame, and I feel that it's kind of pointless, because as I was installing it, and pushing it into my bumper to test it out... There is nothing behind our bumper! You can push the front bumper panel all the way in until it touches the radiator behind it! It's so flexible that if someone was backing into your Outlander Sport, they wouldn't even feel an impact! Oh well, here are the pictures.

And some better pictures in more accurate lighting

Looks great! I used a 4 chip LED from superbrightleds.com with the built in resistors. No problems within the 1st week.

It's not that bad...if you've been driving with it in a for over a decade. Haha...what I don't understand are most people will go as low as 5% and leave the front windshield untouched. Just about 40% of the heat comes from the front windshield, beats on one of the most important parts of the interior you want to protect(the dashboard), and you basically face the heat while driving. To me, it's like people wearing sunglasses backwards. Protect the side, and the back of your head, but not the eyes.

This will solve all of your back up lighting issues.

HIGH POWER 18W LED BACK-UP LIGHT LICENSE PLATE FRAME LPF CHROME

I have one installed, and it's bright as day.

Backup lights and a backup camera? That's overkill, lol. My backup camera's has always been good enough for me. You don't need much light to be able to see how close something is to your bumper.

Well, I suppose that's true. I'm not a big fan of back-up cameras, but if it works for you, it works for me! That's nothing more than a personal preference.
