Wheel teaser...
So while I'm waiting for the best option for lowering Dory, our OS, I've decided to take the wheels apart that I recently bought to polish and buff them up the right way...
Polished the centers with good ol' Meguiar's Wax. These two took about half an hour a piece. The previous owner had the set on a show car that was a trailer queen. His 2005 G35 has 1200 miles, not to mention this was his first set of three sets of wheels.
The centercaps are $40/piece new in case some of you may not be familiar with Volk Racing wheels. The GT-7's are one of our favorite Volk Racing wheels. So much that my fiancee has the 18" version of these in Noble Gold. Gloss Black was an option back before the GT-7 model were discontinued. I'm not a big fan of black wheels, but my fiancee REALLY REALLY liked them, so she wins.

TE37's, what are yours? I have a delima though cause I want to run BF goodridge rugged A/T 265/50/18's but I do not know what they are going to look like on the import style wheels.
I keep going back and fourth. I am not a fan of my 225's streched on the 9" wide wheels right now, but it would look good lowered that way.

Did you say the center caos were 40.00 a piece? Depending on your offset you may not be able to run the center caps because of the cv joint nut, I was not able to put the rears on. The fronts may work though.

These are the GT-7's in Gloss Black. I was surprised with such a simple name, when the other sets we have are Noble Gold and Formula Silver. Haha! All I've done is mount the wheels with the centercaps on the wheels, and the front and rears didn't show any obstacles.
I'm sketchy on what tires I want to put on, but don't want to throw the speedometer off at the least tolerance at all. How is your turning radius in the front with the 9" wide wheel? Still turns on a dime I hope and no rubbing issues?
