I got stranded 20+ miles from home one day on my Ninja. I took public transportation back home, grabbed my $90 bike carrier, stuck it on my hitch, drove back to my bike, strapped it down, and went home. 2nd time I got stranded I called a friend to pick me up instead. Only costed me a couple dollar breakfast for him lol.

Very similar to this

Something in the trans. Let off the gas in 6th, and it just died and I heard a "POP" noise from the engine/trans area. Coasted to the shoulder, and had a lot of trouble downshifting back into neutral (clutch was in because I was coasting, I had grabbed it right after the engine died).

Maybe the clutch I haven't had a chance to look at it since I parked it on Friday.

Nope. Too cheap to pay someone and too busy with school to get around to it. I'd prefer to just sell it, but it's not worth much if it's not running obviously. I'm just hoping it gets stolen

Did you just call my bike old and crappy?!

Sadly, that's pretty accurate I mean it's in incredible shape for a 1994, but at the end of the day, it's 20 years old. My next bike will almost certainly will be another used one, but you bet your *** it will at LEAST have fuel injectors, I'm most certainly done with carbs.

Uhm... no. Just that your original statement of hoping for "it to get stolen" hit the spot of that latest T-Mo commercial.

Hell, there's nothing wrong with having a "transport" that's old...
Many times the older cars can still rock it the best. I have photos to prove it.

In fact, my friend and I both have cars that's 20+ and 50+ years old, so don't even go there. (Well... there was an "event" that just happened to my friend's classic recently that would give us all a good laugh. Not sure if I should post it here though.)

Ahhh, gotcha. I just saw it as me being the "victim", and the bike being the antiquated cell phone that not even a thief would want.
