Audi style headlight

Take a look at the link... It's in Chinese but the pic said it all... Very nicely done...
Duo color changes color with signal too...
Someone find out what the led tube is call I can't find it in English...

Oh...my...god... I'm in love! but they had to open up the entire housing






I searched the internet for flexible drl tube and can't find anything!

I love it.

Now, I just wished our polycarbonate lens/covers for our headlights is as simple as BMW's that can be removed/replaced WITHOUT major DIY surgery!

It appears to be either a flexible COB LED strip, or a regular SMT strip with a really good diffuser.

I'm looking into it though, I'll report back later. Awesome find!

Yeah, I don't know of any led strips that could simulate a CCFL style tube

This looks cool but seems fragile. Hopefully someone takes this idea and makes a better version of this fiber optic strip.

Might be something that I would reverse engineer.

Just open up an Audi headlight housing to see how they do it lol

I found some on ebay and I think it will work. I'm wondering if I could pull this off again without opening the headlight housing... Or maybe I'll just replace my led strips with these instead?

Someone take the plunge instead!
