Hey nothing wrong with a bit of leaking oil I have a Montero Sport too, over 186,000 on the clock and as strong as ever. You'll miss the power and the space of the Montero but the Outlander Sport is nice enough.

Sure thing. Glad to help.

Well, no. No oil leaks that I have noticed... And, I've looked. Guess I should post all my other photos I have of the underside of the O.Sport while it was up on ramps. Clean as a whistle the last I checked.

Where were the leaks coming from on your Montero?

(backtracking a bit, didn't have 0% when I bought mine. My rate was low, but not 0)

As for the question about oil leaks, phenoyz, your best bet would be to poke around the Lancer section for any engine concerns. The 4B11 in the Outlander Sport is the exact same one as the Lancer, so there are hundreds of them over 100k miles and can give you a much better look at long term reliability.

I'll say this though, I have roughly 57,000 miles on mine and it's only been in for fluids, filters, and rubber.
