Wink Custom Carbon Fiber (vinyl) projects

As my wife would call it, 'Throwing away some stacks' on this "mechanical gadget" instead of buying more baby formula & diapers...

Perhaps..
I look at it as a way to stay sane.

Booting up & giving it a spin.

Making the first cut.

Not sure what all I can produce with it yet, but I'm sure I can come up with a few neat projects with this plotter.

Stay tuned!

Nice! I used to be in the industry but just sold the business not too long ago. Now I have another contact for stickers!

a prototype : Protective Skin for our Mitsu Key Remote. I'm test cutting it in white vinyl just to get the size and shape right.
This is version 1.3a

Still got a few tiny tweaks, then I'm going to cut it in carbon fiber vinyl.

version 1.4
This will be the Final Template.

After a little motivation from the wife's heat gun (aka hair dryer)

Here's some shots without the flash, so you can see the actual color and matte finish.

Sure.
But, I need to make an instructional video or something on the procedure/process. You really need to have some experience with vinyl wrapping with heat** to get the bottom corner/edges to seal perfectly - the way I want them to (designed them to.)

Thank you greatly.

I'm going to see how many I can fit on the remaining 3M roll and let me talk to my CFO**.
I still need to draft an instructional (PDF) for this...

You've been holding back on us! The things I could do with a plotter and rolls of carbon fiber vinyl.

Sign me up for two if you offer it to the crew. Thanks for sharing!

Carbon Fiber : Protective Skins Kit - for Mitsubishi Outlander Sport (ASX / RVR)

Okay my friends,
Tested the cuts to be sure I can make these with consistency.
Here's what I can do >

Set of Three per cut, to best utilize the remaining 3M vinyl I have on hand.
(a skin for each of your Key-Remotes, plus a spare.)

***********************

UPDATE:
Was given a Pre-Warning for the possible offer of my remaining cuts.

- instead of causing any problems for our sub-forum and/or team members.

> I've decided to donate these protective skins.
