Well somehow I have the ASSR on my dash. No idea how it happened. I have opened up the center dash at all. Only thing I have done was 2 weeks ago I put in a back-up camera. Ran all the wires along the headliner to the monitor above the rear view mirror. That was a week and a half before the warning came on.
I have to take it into the dealer for the recall anyway but what a pain!

 

i have the same thing in my 2011 when the battery died.

 

Happened to me when I took the seats out to clean the carpet. I turned on the key to listen to music while cleaning and when the SRS did its check it failed because the seats were unhooked.

You have to take it to the dealer to clear the codes. They are most likely just stored codes. If it is still under warranty then take it to the dealer and tell them it just came on randomly. They will ask a few questions, but just play dumb and it wont cost you anything. If they know you caused the issue they will charge you a $150 diagnostic fee.

 

Hello, how did you fixed it? Mine came on after my battery died and jump start it then replace the battery.
