Arrow [Off Topic] Custom Made..

I'm sure most of us have a strong desire to create and build things with our own two hands...

So, I just ordered a few components that should allow me to make some very interesting custom items.

Here's a peek at what I have so far >

Want to guess what they're for?

Ah.. good ol' time machine, aye?
Well I can state for a fact that if I could build one... Going to work for Mitsubishi would probably not be on my list of to-do's.

(And, by the way I would rather go into the Future than to the past.)

Clean off my trusty ol' workbench (ie: circa 1980's drafting table)
Need myself some elbow room!

Putting some metal bits together
Carriage subassembly -

Some plastic bits
Lift guides & rails -

Interesting how building one thing can get you thinking about using parts of it for something completely different...
