I really like those. How does it compare to the OS?

Thanks.

Lol well I'll do picts with it and the O.Sport together, I traded my wife's caliber in for this...it is a jeep renegade new model (and actually direct competition for the O.Sport haha). And it is awesome now mine is the sport trim so not nearly close to the amount of options my SE O.Sport has but performance wise....mine has the 2.4L tiger shark making 180hp so that is quite noticeable already...9 speed transmission feels strange since I'm so used to a cvt at this point.

i suggested a Renegade to my wife before we got the OS, but it got shot down as an "ugly box".

couldn't even get her to test drive one. what's the warranty on it?

I bought my 15 os se awc 2 months ago. I looked at all my options before buying. Jeep has a terrible crop of vehicles for 2015. But this little guy I couldn't find locally. I'd like to know what you think about it as you drive it more. The compass and Cherokee were a major disappointment to me. Just bulky boxes with little driveability and poor mpg. I kinda like the weirdness of the renegade

Not to stomp on your purchase...
But, here's what we felt about the Jeep Renegade Concept vehicle - "Hard Steel" >

Haha well as far as the hard steel concept.....I'm not pretending this is a wrangler for the trails.....I didn't even buy the trail rated model, I just like the uniqueness and how it is cut from a different cloth altogether. I did get 4x4 though for some light off road use and for incliment conditions.

roger that.
Well, I'd got to say at least they started it out with a decent motor option (and trans). No complaints there.

i thought it would be a decent car for her. i kinda like the look of Honda Elements, too (the later ones - without the plastic cladding), but that also got shot down a while back as an "ugly box".

we looked at a Ford Escape, and i'm glad she didn't like it, because *i* think those are goofy-looking.

it's incredible that most of those econo-vehicles are designed with such wind-resisting silhouettes . You'd imagine those manufacturers would try a bit harder to sculpt a more streamlined shape, at the very least.

It's funny you mention that, because as I'm driving I really think it is getting better mpg than the O.Sport....I'll have to drive it more and see if that continues to be the case. Maybe the 9 speed auto handles my area (uphill, downhill, rarely flat) better than a cvt.
