Just wondering how the new CVT is compared to the old one?

 

I have a 15 OS my Mom has a 13 and the new CVT is totally different, it doesn't have the lag and seems to stay in a better gear ratio and the acceleration is a lot quicker.

 

Is this just a programming change to get the older CVT upgraded to the new one or are things completely different?

 

I agree, I had the 15 OS for a week while my 13 OS was getting repaired (hit and run). The acceleration was smooth, and had a better kick. I also noticed the gas mileage was a lot better on the 15 OS as well even though I was driving harder on the rental.

 

From what I've read it's a new CVT for 15.
