Belly Up to the Bar

So (embarrassing...) I broke down and bought a clay bar kit. I was AMAZED at how much crap it pulled off the RVR! Sure cleans up the paint. However, I have learned there are now "Nanoskins". Anyone care to compare and contrast their use with a traditional clay bar? They ain't cheap!

I use a lot of Meguiar's. Not their clay bar. Yet. And the nano thing? New to me too! https://www.nanoskinusa.com/ Some sort of polymer cloth. Detailing geeks are raving about it online.

Ive been using the nanoskin for over a year. I use it with Adams detail spray. And my porter cable orbital. It's so much quicker and just as efficient. Don't get me wrong the clay bar works but the skin is so much easier.

Hope it's ok to post this link but this is what I have and where I got it.

Thanks for the feedback. $71 CAD for the same thing but that is like 4 tiny clay bars. If it truly lasts as long as they say, it could be worth it.

I use this pad on my buffer at least once a month. I drive A lot and with black I have to stay on top paint care. It's still effective and beats the hell out of kneading and all that elbow grease. I should have done the clear bra but could never get it done.
