one of these days, i'll do a 0-60 run with my OBDII bluetooth adapter and the Torque app.

wont do much good here - i have the 2.4L, but maybe someone with access to an older and a 2015 2.0L can do the same .....

2015 has a completely new designed cvt. So it is not a cvt software updated!

I felt that too the 2.0 is even felt faster and smoother than the 2.4....

the 2.4 is almost to the point of being too jumpy off the line. i have to remember to go easy on the throttle from a stop - its my wife's car and i only drive it occasionally.

We've got the 2.0 and it can be very jumpy off the line and from stops as well. We drove the 2.0 and 2.4 in test drives and the 2.4 definitely had more power, but the 2.0 has some pep as well, you've just got to learn to treat the 2.0 differently to get results. Punching it with the 2.0 doesn't get much of a result for me, but light and consistent pressure gets respectable results.

I've not driven anything other than a 2015, so I was surprised by all the reviews calling it sluggish and slow. Sure it's no sports care but if you drive it right it's just fine.

Off the line it may be true and may even be backed up by some data. See post #6 in this thread below for details:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ou...rent-cvts.html
It provides comparison with the 2.4L and some competition as well.
So many people claimed the title of this thread, so I tried to find a justification. I was
like "doubting Thomas" but now with some rough estimations (calculations) I have to admit it is a very feasible claim.
