Got to work in my sport opened the front passenger door to get my glasses out of the seat and the back glass exploded for no reason. Call me crazy but thought I would post in case it happened to others.

 

Get a forensic team to help you find the slug...

 

I looked everywhere I really did think somebody took a shot at me.

 

Saw something similar with a colleague at works cars.
They had driven to work and got out and shut the drivers door as normal. Walked away and seconds later the rear window shattered.
Company who came out to replace it said it must have been a hairline crack or a faulty window. Try proving the faulty window when it's in a million pieces.

 

Buddy that's rough!
I don't know what to say about that...

Only thing close to that was when we were nearly killed by some chick who smashed into us on the highway (in our original Silver O.Sport AWD) -

I've slammed my hatch shut plenty of times, here in the crazy cold AND in insane Texas heat. Haven't noticed anything like that yet.
