Hi Guys. My Airbag System Required turned on after my battery died, jump start the car and replace the battery. Is there any way to resolve this or do I need to bring it to the dealer? I bought this ) from Amazon and maybe I can reset it with this. Any input will be much appreciated. :-)

 

Nevermind, I fixed it already.

 

how so? My battery died and that light came up for me too. Obd2 reader says circuit open

I second the request!
I had the same original issue as OP and now that airbag warning light has been in my dash for over a year now..

 

For me, I have had the light come on because of a radio swap.

Dealer wanted 150 to clear it, I bought an advanced OBD2/SRS scanner off amazon for 120 and cleared it myself.


OP should have at the very least mentioned how they cleared the code instead of "nevermind I fixed it" for anyone else facing this issue in the future.
