Subtle double clunk noise

For the past month I've been hearing two muted clunk sounds when driving forward from a stop - it doesn't sound like metal on metal if that helps. However, if I coast several feet then accelerate, I won't hear the clunks. Once I'm moving I don't hear it anymore unless I come to a stop again. There are no noises when in reverse or turning. It's a 2014 2wd, 75k miles, CVT fluid flush/refill 10k miles ago. Any thoughts?

It's really not loud enough to record. However, I went to an independent garage today and he said it was the spring on the front passenger side that was losing it's compressive strength causing it to shift on initial movement of the vehicle. Makes sense to me but I know very little about cars. Does this seem like it could be the problem?

Sounds like hooey to me.

Clunks are usually worn bushings somewhere.

I have something similar... Right Front. Did you ever figure out what that was?
