^likely not a good fit. plagues a lot of CF hoods/lids, unless you drop some bones!

 

I dont think even a bad fitment would look that opened up.. Theres like a 1.5 inch opening in the front.

 

You'd be surprised, but that is a bit excessive. I've seen 1" gaps about halfway between the nose and the cabin.

 

for sure hit me up when you are free sometime i would like to take a closer look at your hood! it's the seibon one right? i have heard horror stories about seibon so i wanted to really look at yours! it looks damn good when we got next to each other!!! btw love your car man...love the color i wanted a GG really bad.

btw Dan what CF hood brand do you have? the fitment on your hood looks pretty good!

 

I think pretty much all you can get anymore are the knock-off brands (Seibon, etc) for cf hoods/trunks. I know I got the last HKS Kansai hood made for the Evo 9.

Saw a BBY Evo with a cage while the TB, AS, LY caravan of us rode down to ER this AM. It was a little before 9A I think?

We saw a midgetspec deal going down in a certain Camas car yard. Prices don't get any lower!

ah we just missed you then, i was there at 9am and left about 10:45 for the dyno. we were there till about 12:30.

Ah, then we just missed you at the dyno then too. You were there with Luke and we were at the shop with Aaron. We then went to the dyno to meet Luke but just missed him and waited for Aaron.

 

I took it off 2 or so months ago. season was over before it started this year
its cool though, i just detailed the evo and drained all the fluids and am storing it in the garage with the cover on it. All i do now is ride the r1. I finally got my jeep up and running so when it rains that will be the vehicle of choice. The evo will be paid off this summer so i can keep building it afterwards

next goal: AMS 2.3 stroker+35r twinscroll fully built motor= torque monster VIII
