^this is close enough to the right spot for this question. $20k for 60k miles seems kinda high with those mods, depending. Is it a 2006 or older? Are those 60k of highway miles or was this a DD/track car? Can you give us a link?

You can get a lower mileage Evo for cheaper. You may not get those mods, but unless you plan to track the hell out of it, do you need that much in wheels and suspension? Would you really want to track wheels that expensive? When paying less you could then build the car the way you want it. I guess the question is do you need to finance those upgrades and will they pay off, and I definitely wouldn't pay full price for the owner to keep those on the car.

As for your other choices, most opinions are that you will get more from your money going with the Evo than the STi, especially if you plan to mod it. As for the Taco, well that is more of a lifestyle question for you - do you need a truck?

Its a 2006 evo Mr and it was a track car but he changed the oil after track day, and it was his dalily driver. I have some buddys who have stis and are happy with them. I thought I would get on the thread to ask evo people if they are happy with there car and would they ever want a different car. I looked around on the site and saw some people going to BMW which I thought was kinda of weird going from a bad *** car to a luxary car. I can't really make a descion right now but I am leaning towards an evo here is some of them

Spotted a black evo at the 76th station on 124th by green river community college around 5:15pm. I honked.

 

Those are all higher priced than I thought you were looking for.

That WW one that you like belongs to a member on here, his alias is freshjuicebox, he is a really good guy, and his car is clean. That Gray one looks nice, but it looks like the headlights are from an older model (not a 2006). It could just be the lighting, though.

Another thing for you to think about is that the MR's have a 6-spd stock which tends to be nicer on the highway but is not as stout as the 5-spd. If you track the car, especially after adding power mods, there is a chance the transmission will need to be upgraded.

As for Evo owners going to BMWs, the 335 has good power and lots more luxury. Not everyone wants to DD the raw and connected ride of the Evo. (said: ride can be harsh) In fact, I believe that is the WW owner's reason for selling.

I do know a few previous STi owners going to Evos and I'm sure it happens the other way too, but I am not familiar with that context. Good luck, and maybe move this to the general NW section or just PM me.

***BTW - I spotted a Silver IX in the totem lake area about 1145a today. Looked like they had MS tags, and I flipped the deuces. I think they did the same, but I was driving perpendicular to them through an intersection.
