I am pretty sure I know who this is.... nice guy, sucks he did that to his car.
My MR is OOC for a couple weeks as well. Had to run up to Spokane for some stuff, and ended up kissing a pole (ice with snow over the top isn't very condusive for allowing turns with Advans, even at approx. 5 mph). Easily a couple grand in damage. Have to fly home tonight and come back and get it when its finished.

How dare you drive your Evo in inclimate weather! I garage mine whenever there is a possibility of under 40 degree weather. That's what you get for being a horrible driver and a disgrace to all Evo owners!!!!!
But for reals I'm sorry to hear about that mang. I just got back into town and it's good to be driving my baby again. I saw a blue evo 8 in Chicago last week although I highly doubt they'll be checking this forum.

Assuming that was directed toward what my dad had said. If so, his further comments were that it sounded like crap in comparison to my car (3" mandrel, flow thru, with no cat). There are some pretty cheap people in this world and it wouldnt surprise me that one has gone and got a crush bent exhaust shop $200 special with some off brand OBX/China muffler and the whole thing sounds like poo. I have heard LOTS of 4G63's over the years that sounded like crap becuase they had less than perfect exhaust systems. I wasnt there so I dont know, but it could have even been an exhaust leak problem. My dad has put up with me and my imports since 94 so he knows a fart can when he hears it.

on the side note
I've seen few evo's creeping on Vancouver...I've seen them on my way to work.
There gotta be few more in Vancouver then just js06evoix...
Weather in P-town is just crap right now

I saw a red MR, dropped low, TurboXS or HKS exhaust, DARK tinted windows, black centered wheels with polished lips, and a carbon hood roll through Aberdeen the other day. If it hadnt been for the hood I would have thought someone stole my car with me in it. Damn copycats.
[QUOTE=andysoo8284;3864720]The Evo is not a Ferrari man. I drive mine in inclement weather all the time although the car is equipped with the necessary parts. My Evo gets used and abused and it always comes back wanting more. Can't beat a rally inspired car in snow unless you're running the stock Advans.

It's Miss, but don't worry about it and I was mocking the people in this forum that have their panties up in a wad because people like myself drive our cars like they are things that get us from our homes to wherever we are going. Mine needed a new wheel when it snowed last year. You can even check for the thread under my posts and see.

Saw an AS Evo IX twice today. First time was right as 205 merged with I-5, the second time was just north of Longview. Its unique because it had a storage bin on the rack on the roof. I wasn't in my Evo of course, so couldn't give a proper hello.
Least they lights arn't hooked up. I should paint those suckas c.c I saw a Red evo today on post with purpleish Rims and a bunch at axium (sp?)

Glad to see a girl that knows what type of environment an Evo is really home in. (ahem you pansy males worried about your nails)
