***Official WA Chat Thread***
at this point I just need to get the car on the road. Some changes coming with the job. It could be good but it could be bad. I'll see whut's whut in the coming weeks/month.
It helps to specify WHERE you are in WA. And if you're buying fluids for us both then you can come over to my garage and i'll show you how to change fluids properly!
The car has just slipped way down on the priorities list for lots of reasons. Got a new job working for Oculus/Facebook trying to change the world and I travel more. We have 3 kids and they keep me busy when I'm home.
But mainly I started competitive shooting about 3 years ago and in the process started developing some products for that market. This got me into machining and CNC, and I've basically spent all my free-time learning everything I can about that stuff. I've got a pretty awesome product getting ready to start production (me doing all the manufacturing). I kicked all the cars out of the garage so I could install a new CNC machine and setup a space to develop and build stuff.
I just don't have time or any space at this point to maintain the Evo and run it at the track like I used to. It hasn't seen the track in 3 years because I haven't been able to find time to fix stupid little issues. But I just wrapped up the show stoppers and plan to drive it around a little and likely put it up for sale. It's in pretty heavy track mode and I don't feel like working on it to change it - so it will need the right buyer. Really sad to think of the idea of getting rid of it, but I just am not using it and don't see it happening in the next few years as I try and get the business rolling in the new ventures.
