Thumbs up Welcome!

Welcome to the site. Lots of great information here. If you are looking for social interaction you'll need to join the facebook tribe. Be warned, I understand there is lots of drama there. If your in the Seattle/Bellevue area ping me and we'll meet for a beer.

thanks

I've been saving money to do some work on my car. I'd like to have English racing install a larger turbo kit, they said it would put the car at or a little above 450awhp. Stock motor. Anyone have experience with e.r.?

ER is top notch. Though I am not sure 450whp on a stock motor is the best idea. What turbo are you considering?

English racing

I'm not exactly sure which Turbo. I spoke with a man named Miles. They quoted me over 12,000. He said that they have built several other evos with that kind of horsepower on stock blocks.

Is 12,000 a typo? Is that for an engine build and turbo? If its for an engine build, then its not a stock motor.

might I suggest an alternate (and much cheaper) path to ~450whp.

1. MHI TF06-18K http://www.forcedperformance.net/mer...=Lancer-TurboX
2. GSC S2 cams http://www.power-division.com/produc...4&cat=0&page=1
3. AMS widemouth downpipe https://www.amsperformance.com/cart/...-Downpipe.html
4. Tomei titanium single exit exhaust http://www.maperformance.com/product...-4b11-by-tomei
5. Tomei titanium test pipe http://www.maperformance.com/product...ancer-ralliart
6. Walbro fuel pump http://www.maperformance.com/product...ant=7526054019
7. ETS intercooler kit w/3.5" fmic http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/E...ooler-Kit.html
8. ETS intake http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/E...-X-Intake.html
9. Tune.

P.S. you will need valve springs with the S2 cams as well, just go with whatever ER recommends.

you're getting ****ed in the butt on that one.

Any way you spin it, you shouldn't be anywhere near that price. Listen to nemsin, go a different route and save yourself a LOT of money
