Hey guys, at first I thought this might be Shane's new car, but now I dont think so (its only one color)
So who's Evo is this? they put some sort of Accord body kit on it, but the wing is clearly a Evo.

What ECU do you have in the car? Is it a newer evo 7/8/9 ECU or the Evo 6 ECU? Not sure how deep they ever got in the AL code in the stock ECU in either case. Best bet might be hooking up with the UK/AUDM Evo 6 guys that lurk in the ECUFlash forum to learn if its possible first.
What I don't like is that now the game even at the rec league level is now played the same. You can't give any regular contact or you get whistled. Pick up is also degrading now cause you get a little slap or tap and they want to call you for a foul.

Bad ignition switch
Can anyone chime in here on a bad ignition switch?
Car wouldn't start Sunday afternoon, no turn over, no clicking etc, however; the fuel pump primed and all other electronics worked...battery fully charged.
A couple hours later it started right up. Checked the wires to the starter yesterday and all were snug, no corrosion etc.
A couple things add: Saturday I installed an aftermarket steering wheel, so there could have been some jiggling of the wires in the column. Went back and checked it all and it looks good, no stretched or worn wiring.
also has 105k on it, so I know a lot of people have had to change out the ignition switch by now.
My question is, if the switch is bad, does it prevent the starter from engaging or does it just prevent the coils/spark from firing?

Do you know what exactly needs to be changed? I have the cable and software just haven't played with those settings.
Bcspeed, mrfred and Aaron @ English know waaay too much about the ALS through the factory Ecus. They would be the guys to ask. And maybe Andrew, but I think he is in dc now.
Free Stuff
Peeps!
I have some free stuff it you want.
My work is getting rid of a bunch of stuff. Small tools (crimpers, tweezers, etc), zip ties, small diameter shrink tube, solder irons (and solder), etc.
PM or text me if you want something.
I am NOT driving this stuff anywhere or shipping. I'm in Bothell with this stuff. lmk.

This summer I plan on heading down there for a tune, once I have some more go-fast bits put on. For now though I'd just like messing around with some of the JDM ALS hardware on the car.
