U need to wire a 60 ohm resistor in parallel to the turn signal so you dont get fast blinking.

Also, tap the power on your marker lights to get the blue to turn on.

It wasnt difficult at all, about 30 minutes per side as i hid all the wires

how hot do the resistors get? Also, you need one for each bulb, correct? such as if i wanted to do front, side, rear; i'd need three, and not just one on the front. as i type this i answered my own question, because without a resistor on each bulb it would just think that bulb is out, it doesn't care about the whole circuit.

back to the main question, how hot do the resistors get? i'm wanting to do led's again now..

With 0 posts its often times hard to put very much effort into those questions.

Sorry but it is.

i only had them on for about 5 minutes last night, and they didnt even get a little warm. Because LEDs have less draw than a normal bulb, i think the resistor is mainly there to make the car happy and recognize something is plugged in.

I was thinking about this the other day.

We have learned so much about these cars and it's no sweat to go help out some noobs. But for them it's like pulling teeth. I figure it's kind of like clinic duty for House, most times it sucks, but it's a necessary evil.

Yeah but we all started somewhere, right? Im just sayin.

I usually just give them a quick link on where they should look for this info or where to ask the question for a better response. I know I was (and still am) a noob and appreciate the ones who point me in the right direction over the ones who waste my time and theirs with the pointless response they give.

It makes Ryan feel self-important to talk down to noobs.

TBH, it DOES get annoying, answering the same questions all the time, or reading some not so well thought out post/question, but no amount of noob bashing responses has seemed to curb the creation of them, so I just don't waste energy anymore... not that I did much anyway.

I find it easier and more energy efficient to either answer the question, or just ignore it.

Just sayin'.
