It makes Ryan feel self-important to talk down to noobs.
TBH, it DOES get annoying, answering the same questions all the time, or reading some not so well thought out post/question, but no amount of noob bashing responses has seemed to curb the creation of them, so I just don't waste energy anymore... not that I did much anyway.
I find it easier and more energy efficient to either answer the question, or just ignore it.
Just sayin'.

Stepping up on soap box: back in my day, when new to a forum we had to use these search function things. Membership on a forum was dependant on going through a tutorial which informed the user how to use the search function and encouraged it.
Now there is nothing to encourage people to help themselves to the information at hand and it's become pervasive to encourage others to do so, causing people to "talk down" to those who dissent and encourage others to use the search function.
Is there a "how to" thread? somebody told me once that they have good information on there. Can somebody give me a link since i'm too lazy to do a bare minimum of research into topics?

Pgp support event this weekend. Saturday. Hosted by my friend matt haughness "importmeet.com". I have previous family plans but if you could go out there and show your support. I really want to see pgp allow 2stroke karts and cars again.
