Hello peeps. I'm a newer member to the forum but have had an evo9 Mr for a few years. I just got some of the worst news an Evo owner can get. My engine took a **** and English Racing saying my best bet is to find a short block. Does anyone have or know anyone that has an Evo 9 short block. Thanks!

Yea been talking with them I think that's the route we going. Built 2.0 block going to end up going to the Shop. I'll keep y'all posted on what goes down. Sucks not having the Evo.
^amen brother. Been going through transition with job and crap going down at home so my Evo just sits in the gay-rodge, frowning at me. I just need to bite the bullet and have ER trailer her in, then figger it out.
*edit - BTW I agree 1000% with Jason - go straight through ER. I tried to "save a few" and help someone out on here at the same time; he had a 2.4L sitting in his garage forever (he had a DSM and got the motor, but it was the wrong bolt pattern for him). All-in-all, I haven't ever really trusted the motor plus it cost pretty close to the same amount for ER to have the motor torn down, inspected, put together again.
In the end, I was able to get the guy on here to agree to less money but I felt like I was screwing him even though I feel like I was getting screwed at the same time (not by him, just the poop motor he ended up getting from someone else).
Not as bad as the guy that still owes me money for my original FP-Black though...

^I wish it were you. At least I know where yer mammy lives!
It was one of those things where he had to go away on deployment in a pinch, and I figured we'd catch up...then my car broked and I got all Evo-depressed, and he pretty much never came back, which made me moar Evo-depressed.
I think I've heard he's down in TX now. :\

If you have any proof he owes you payment, even hand written or email form, you can get his command to make him pay. They will take him to Captain's mast over it. The Navy does not let sailors not pay their debts. They take it very serious as skipping out on bills reflects poorly on the Navy.

Anyone have a spare turbo from the 4b11t sitting around I could get by tomorrow? Guy i bought from still hasn't shipped and my shop is suppose to do the install tomorrow, so I can go to English for a tune on Monday.
