I use a GST boost assembly. ECU boost. It never fluctuates and hold boost way better. I get 3psi more at 7500. I got tired of boost tapering to 17-18psi. Now hold 21psi at 7500. 3ports are even better which is what I am going to once I order injectors.
The 3 port set up is pretty cheap, I think Ramses got his set up for under $50. One bag thing about it is that you cant really change your boost level ever. Really takes the fun out of cold nights
Don't get the one with the ceramic ball which would be the RX. Get the regular Hallman Pro, my boost would fluctuate as much as 3psi when colder with the ceramic ball. The metal ball seemed to be better.
Why not go with ECU boost or a GM 3port? Its cheaper and much more effective.

One of the few things I agree w/ you on.
I had the one w/ ceramic ball and it was worse than my home made mbc. The GM 3 port is the way to go and is really not expensive at all. I never tried the non ceramic ball one, but I have know others who have had problems w/ their ceramic ball mbc from Hallman. One of the few things I agree w/ you on.

Theres really no need to adjust boost when it never changes like an MBC. If you want a high/low boost setup just run the tephra patch and can switch maps on the fly. MBC can't do that now. Very handy for people with meth.
Yet it sucks when you have a cold night and want to turn it up a bit. Also if you do not have a race gas map you can't turn it up with race gas.
It really just doesn't leave enough flexibility. I do like the set up though, it works well, it is just not for me.
If any of you guys need Amsoil, I'm now a preferred customer and can get it for $6.95 a quart. I get discounts on other Amsoil products as well.
Does $95 sounds good for a new Hallman Pro RX shipped? This is the cheapest I can find; anyone know of a cheaper place?
