Sweeeeeet, just ordered an ARC spark plug cover in gradation for $260 shipped. I've been looking for one of these forever, but didn't want to pay more than $300.

The 3 port set up is pretty cheap, I think Ramses got his set up for under $50. One bag thing about it is that you cant really change your boost level ever. Really takes the fun out of cold nights

Depends on how your 3 port is setup, whether its Direct or Load based BC.

Why not go with ECU boost or a GM 3port? Its cheaper and much more effective.

One of the few things I agree w/ you on. I had the one w/ ceramic ball and it was worse than my home made mbc. The GM 3 port is the way to go and is really not expensive at all. I never tried the non ceramic ball one, but I have know others who have had problems w/ their ceramic ball mbc from Hallman.

You should know this... You can tune the Gm 3 port either way, but you can only to direct bc if you have a jdm map sensor or an AEM 3.5+ map sensor.

^on mine? load based reads different boost instead of the same all the time like dbc. So you have to use the ECU i guess or dont worry about it.

You know when I typed that I thought for sure you weren't going to agree

Theres really no need to adjust boost when it never changes like an MBC. If you want a high/low boost setup just run the tephra patch and can switch maps on the fly. MBC can't do that now. Very handy for people with meth.

Yet it sucks when you have a cold night and want to turn it up a bit. Also if you do not have a race gas map you can't turn it up with race gas.

It really just doesn't leave enough flexibility. I do like the set up though, it works well, it is just not for me.

Sounds complicated. Think I'll stick with the Hallman Pro or Pro RX.

If any of you guys need Amsoil, I'm now a preferred customer and can get it for $6.95 a quart. I get discounts on other Amsoil products as well.

Does $95 sounds good for a new Hallman Pro RX shipped? This is the cheapest I can find; anyone know of a cheaper place?
