When you check your coolant, is it darker or milky grey?? Check your oil, does it look like there is coolant in it?? You coolant can be full but if you're blowing oil by into the coolant channels in the head and vice versa.... I am still leaning towards the thermo being bad.... Can the tech's at your work look at it?? If not give me a hollur, EDR repair crew!!!

nope, coolant, oil, water, everything is fine. nothing seems mixed. i'm hoping it's just a stupid thermo. srsly. yeah well, my techs...they're subie mechanics, they just bash on my the mitsubishi, and i hate hearing about it.

 

Is the radiator fan turning on when you're not moving? If it's not, you'd have those symptoms even with a good thermostat.

 

that's the where it gets strange...sometimes the fan comes on, sometimes it doesn't. :| pissing me offffff.
