good luck man. it looks in good shape. I was a dumba$$ and didn't run a car fax on my evo. it only had 24,000 miles on it. didn't have the original t-case, tranny or engine. and the engine blew up on me after a month! i guess the turbo boost soleniod was broken and was driving at full boost the whole time i was driving the car. I got the engine replaced and a new solenoid, then the t-case crapped out on me a few months after that. Now i'm just waiting for my friend to put the new t-case in... it's been a nightmare. At least the tranny is in good shape though.
Check and see if Oregon has any Lemon Laws too.

man the set backs continue.....So for some reason i was checking to see if the for sale ad on CL was there for the GG EVO i will be taking a look at in portland. Guess what the ad gets deleted. So i go on Autotrader to see if the car is on there and low and behold the car is on autotrader.....BUT for an awesome higher price. I spoke to Greg who works in the portland area that quoted me the car for 22,500 and now i see the car selling at their edmonds location for 24,495....22,500 is my range....damn it wtf /wrist....i'm gonna call them in the morning and try and sort this out...
i bought it from a dealer while i lived in utah... and they have an "as is" law... since the window sticker said "as is - no warranty" there was nothing i could do about it...
I was utterly pissed about it all... I even talked to the attorney on base, but according to utah law, i couldnt do anything... those shady gypsy dealers thrive in utah... and some even disguise themselves as certified dealers.
Even when the motor blew up, i was still glad i had an evo lol i knew i'd get it fixed eventually. i fell in love with them ever since the VIII was introduced to american soil. I'm a mitsu guy at heart, this is my 4th mitsu
lol

^you lived in Utah too long! Haha, j/k! That is a classic, though, but it has been around for a while.
You know how to tell a gypsy dealer in disguise? Whether they try to give you a dog with your car sale!

Even worse, Samy, you now have to worry about identity theft/credit for years to come. My wife's car was broken into 5+ years ago and we still get weird *** stuff that pops on her credit. 3 years afterwards someone got a fuggin' cell phone in her name but going to an address in Renton. For whatever reason the cell company thought that was okay to send all billing to a different address for 4 months until they came looking for us to pay the billing...

So on my way off base today, I noticed some construction going on at the base gas station, wondering if it's going to be for E85 so I just checked online and well came across this this;

And I knew something seemed a little off when they were advertising free pet neutering with every car purchase!!!
