uhm...yeah........ when i was mostly stock (cone filter, 3'' TBE) i raced a supercharged RSX and another with a greddy kit on it. could not keep up with me.

haha..Same with me, I raced a supercharge RSX on a roll..It couldn't even keep up..so just leave the honda's alone man. I think they get pick'd on enough. Honda's rev-up to anything.

 

I wasn't the one considering selling the evo for a rsx-s . hahaha

and Honda reliability can't be beat, plus gas mileage, plus ease of parts, plus super easy to work on, plus the list goes on

I would check those out Chris. They are the AL+ Pro with Swift springs (in this case 10k F&R) I am going to be going with those pretty soon. Theres a few people running this setup with alot of success.

 

Was the rsx with the sc black? Was the rsx with the greddy kit white?

Why all the hate on the honda's? I can appreciate any clean car.

 

alot of things can beat honda. honda's not on top of the world. it just depends on what motor/car and owner. i mean yeah if the owner is reckless than of course things are gonna break. and if you're talking about 4cyl motors than yeah no one can beat honda. but if u wanna talk about 6 cyl cars than nissan is on top no matter what. any nissan or evo or etc. can get good gas mileage. anything if not everything has parts.

no not with a SR20DET in them. i know they have the s14 here but its not turbo'd i don't think. right ? if i'm not correct me. most of them are converted.

but what i was talking about was that my friend with an 1985 S12 swapped a RB20DET into it.

the one with the supercharger was blue and the one with a greddy kit was black.

it's not the fact that it's clean, yeah i like clean cars as well. but can you be unique with a honda? and i hate it when ppl make it seem like honda's can be the WORLDS fastest car. it pisses me off cause honda's aren't shiet..

i'm sorry but man honda's really get on my nerves. the way they sound and the way ppl make em look it's just annoying. the ppl who own them are annoying too. everytime one of them loses a race the same ol' excuse comes up. "oh i couldn't get traction.." well it's not our fault that they have a WRONG wheel drive car.

 

there are s15's in the us. not made in the us, but imported ones.

so no luck with the wrecked evo. it went for 7800 on the auction... when i added everything up it just wasnt worth it. so the search is still on

 

yeah i know. i think there's only 3 legal ones in the NW. does the girl that lives in everett still have her silver one? the other 2 are in oregon.

Same with me, Most of the honda's I see in the street daily always try to race me. I mean wtf I didn't have to downshift and still pass it. And they always saying how honda's can run 7's & 8's. Com'on thats a track car not a daily driver. Yea and they always make up **** when they lose.

 

To me, Honda is a starting point in the whole tuner thing. I didnt start there (GSX) and I know you didnt either, but some people do, and thats okay. They are cheap and easy to mod. A clean honda (clean I mean JDM) will turn my head like anyother CLEAN car.

But I agree that a lot of hondas are played out, but there are still some out there that are worth to look at.

 

Honda's are by no means fast. There motors are impressive though. The amount of power K20 and K24 can get all motor is quite amazing. On average a bolt on K20 Kpro'd puts out almost 120WHP per liter NA. Theres not many other cars in the world that can do that regardless of engine size.

Your right though if the owners weren't such idiots and ricers they might have a better rap. Hell if I couldn't afford an evo I would be an 05-06 RSX-S. 360wtq torque at 3600rpm instead of 150lbs of torque a 8000rpm might not help either
