that's true. but everyone who has a car period talks alot of crap and i'm starting to hate it. always saying how yeah "i bet you my car is faster than yours.." and when i try to defend the truth they always gotta say "at least mine moves." especially subi owners. "if you had a subaru it woulda been 2 times faster and it won't break"

Idk man, but if you are looking for the tranny, look for it first? If the money is the issue, go for money first?
sorry bud but this doesn't make sense. i need money to look at that stuff. so why would you say look for the tranny or (in my case) t-case first if i don't have the money to buy it...

Honestly the edit had nothing to do with you at all. It has everything to do with Derek's post. If you want my 100% honest opinion about your situation here it is. Save up some money then just get a stock case, don't worry about the shep stuff. Every one gets there share of **** thrown there way. When people make fun of you for breaking your car just learn to laugh with it. Look at Mike with the 1g who launched in reverse last year. That was epic to the point where it is hard to find a forum that doesn't have that picture. He takes the jokes like a champ.

I might not have an evo but lets look at it this way:

-At the end of last year i had an evo as my dd for 3 months
-i have over 65k miles of seat time in an evo
-I have spent thousands of hours working on everything from a stock evo to an 1100 horse power evo
- I have been around turbo Mitsubishi's since before you had a clue what they were
- I have owned more turbo cars then i can count

I have put in my dues, i figured that this would end after them pms but i guess not. When you are ready to end it let me know.

for the first part. i wasn't talking about the edit at all. i was just wanting to know what opinion you could give me.

for the second part. don't stress on him man. he ain't nobody, he's just another person taking up space in this world. just think of it that way. he's just hatin on the knowledge you have that he doesn't. simple as that. you're gonna have haters in this world. i on the other hand respect you. not by the car that you drive or own but more so of your honest opinions and huge *** knowledge.. (no homo)

u don't need sheptrans or qualife lsd... ur IX tcase lsd good euff. and get new pistion n ring that how rebuild is.. but need shop machine (press machine) but im afraid to break. I never experinces with tcase repair.. but I read service manual sound like easy.. so u just need ring n piston that all..

keep ur chin up and work on goal and get her back on road..

why u can't get loan? I though ur evo paidoff and ur parent don't help?

its not that i can't get it. its just that i have so much bills i have to pay, i don't want to have anymore to pay. so yeah that's why i'm hesitant to get one. but if anything. i just don't want to break my t-case again. that's why i'm considering stage 3 rebuild with shep.

Aaron and myself have been talking about what is the cheaper way to go about your, Chris, and Aaron's problem. Really what it comes down to is you might as well keep the acd because the non acd stuff has risen in price like crazy. I all three of your cases the drive train was abused. It is not like it just failed. Aaron was launching way to high, Chris launched to high and dropped the clutch, and well... you know what you did. At this point i really don't see a reason to spend that much money to upgrade. I would just get a stock case and get your car back on the rode. If you want to bs about this more come out to the dyno day, i will be there both days.

Rule: Backpressure in an exhaust system is evil.

Truest quote ever. Ya'll need to read up on Turbochargers instead of EvoM all day long. Once you've gotten past the turbocharger, no backpressure is necessary. On industrial diesels, turbochargers are in fact used without a muffler to assist in dampening noise where horsepower loss is not an option.

Turbine backpressure is the root of all evi...er horsepower loss. The less pressure on the turbine = less resistance = freer spinning compressor = more boost = more horsepower. This is where the HUGE JDM trend started putting 6" coffee can exhausts on honda civics. Seeing a picture of a raced out skyline or supra with a HUGE exhaust.

There was a 335 xi in my last track day. They are pretty damn fast, it took me two laps to pass him. I actually had to work for it

I was guessing Alex. Now that I know your problem (I think so), please go for the money first. That should be your main aim for now.

No money, no T-case. No T-case, no evo. Bleh. You should understand what I am saying and I don't mean to tease or what-so-ever.
