Chris i would just save up for a set of coilovers if i were you. Spending money on springs as a part time fix doesn't really make that much sense to me. Do things right the first time!

You can say that but if it is just another way that he want to do it to lower his car while saving, he also can do that.

Springs are cheap IMO.

When you are planning on building a pure track car i don't see how springs are a good investment.

Considering Swift springs help in handling and usually retain there value quite well. They are a good investment. You can pick them up the low $200 dollar range. Me personally would rather buy decent springs then save for nicer coilover like you mentioned. IE: Robispec KW's, Ohlins, PSS9 or something.

I'm actually running Swift Sport Machs on my MR until I can afford to pick up some nice coilovers myself. I've enjoyed them immensely as they do improve handling to some degree. A noticable improvement over stock to be sure.

Plus, their nicely priced.

Yes they have the Bilstein PSS-9 currently which are very nice. They are 8k F&R springrates which are a tad soft but they are considered the best riding coilover you can buy. They are around $1700 and GTWORX or Z1 can get them.

They are also coming out with the new PSS-10 here soon which should be pretty good.
