***Official WA Chat Thread***
Hey everyone in Wa. My hometown is Puyallup, but I'm in the Air Force stationed out in Italy right now.
My car is being cared for in Washington while I'm out here. (I'd bring it here but Italians are crazy!!! And the hail is insane...)
I'll be home next June/July for some vacation time. I know it's a little far away, but it'd be cool lto set up a meet while I'm out there to meet some locals.
EvoM user MYGOKART is the one that's caring for my car while i'm gone
He just fixed the engine, he's about to put in all the gauges and the Gruppe-s radio replace as well as a T-case (original was $#!tty, dang previous owner!!!) next month is new radio and alarm, then exhaust, down pipe, fuel pump, cams etc... My goal is for her to be at at least 350 awhp by time i get to drive her next summer
Anyway... It'd be rude of me to bore everyone and not include some pics lol
So here's my Evo

And here is my current DD. My 1994 Fiat Coupe' 16v Turbo. for a 15 yr old Fiat, she's pretty quick lol the turbo definitely helps that out

I know... a little goofy looking, but she's got a surprisingly mean growl for an old 2.0L Fiat.
Anyway... Hope all is well in Washington
i miss that place...

i miss that place...Sure he is "caring" for your car!
Nice pics and while the DD Fiat is a bit odd from the rear, the fact is you don't really see those over here so it is nice to see. Plus the back looks a bit like a TVR.
There are quite a few people in the Auburn/Puyallup area actually, and during the summer we seem to try and meet pretty regularly. Stay safe, and hope to see you then!

I trust him.The back of the Fiat does sorta look like a TVR lol i never though of that... I've been debating on bringing it back to the states when I leave Italy. But maintenance would be a B**ch... plus it's an old Fiat, so it's probably going to break regularly. The turbo is on its way out... But owning a car that know one has seen before would be pretty sick. I'd just take the Fiat logo off the hood and paint the car Ferrari Red lol
I'll have to stick around this thread and if there isn't a meet planned while I'm out there, I'll have to try and set one up. I hear you all meet at the Tacoma Mall Krispy Kreme sometimes. Meeting out on Ruston Way would be pretty sick
all done with the sickness..good thing too that sucked, but I've been good for a week now!yep it's still going tomorrow. no Mitsubishi
representation at the show?!? what's up with that?

So here's my Evo

I was stationed in Aviano a few years back. What I would have given to have my evo back then! Autostrada and trips to Germany every weekend, it'd be like a free day at the track, minus the tolls. You livin on base? When I was there, there wasn't much base housing, so my wife and I found a nice little place in Maniago. Anyway, enjoy it while you're there; my wife's been dreaming of going back. Take care!!!

about a minute from the town center lol it's really nice. We lived right outside of Ranzano on the economy for about 6 months, then got offered Gov't housing. We couldn't turn it down lol we have no kids and they gave us a 3 bdrm
the drive is a little further but at least now we don't live out in a corn field lol that smells in the spring time.Oh I would LOVE to have my Evo out here. I sure miss it
but the way I think of it, I don't have to bum a car from a friend or family when I fly out to visit lol that'll be nice.My Fiat does pretty well on the Autostrada
it's got like 200 bhp. which is like 3 times more hp than most of the econo-cars you see out here
^ That's awesome, I remember Maniago being a nice little town. We lived on some side street just as you were coming into the town past the Itanlian base and train tracks!!! Is that famous sword/knife shop still there in Maniago? I always wished I bought something cool there, but with my pay at the time, just couldn't afford it. Did they ever replace that one lane bridge a few miles before the town? My wife had her purse stolen out of our car down in that field beside the bridge; some dude just pulled up to our car with us a few hundred yards away and snagged it, we saw the whole thing, just couldn't get there fast enough. Anyway, have fun man, Italy in the winter is awesome if you ski or snow board!!!
FWIW - Craftsman has a good deal on torque wrenches right now. They can be had for $39.99 - 10% once in the cart! Also, if you spend more than $50 you can use coupon SDEALS817 to get an additional $5 off! link
