My windows roll up kinda slow. Any of you have the same issue or its just the way it is?

 

hey any of you guys know edison personally? i met up with him this week and was going to meet with him today, we negotiated on a price for his car and in his FS thread he decides to say it is pending to a girl while we are already talked price and all i need to do was just test drive the car which was suppose to happen. Now on top of the car pending to someone else AFTER we already talked about the price and all that he would not pick up his phone today at all...

 

I tried to buy his last evo from him about 3yrs ago...we set out a price and I got a loan then it went down hill from there. 2wks later I flew down to Cali and bought a basically new MR. Give it time maybe it will work out...if not don't stress Evo's aren't that hard to find. Go down to Cali...good deals can be had and 9 times out of 10 they are better condition.

 

When was the last time you cleaned the track? probably never. A dirty track can cause the window to roll up slow or the motors are going, but I say try cleaning the track first. I know my driver's side goes up slow and pretty sure the track is just dirty.

 

my driver side goes up pretty slow; I've never cleaned the tracks and is likely the problem as it goes a little fast, then slower, then fast again toward the end.

Sorry to hear about the deal possibly falling through, Kevin. I hope it all works out and it was a simple miscommunication.

*edit - sounds like the deal is going through with Edison and I'm guessing there was just accidental miscommunication. Good luck!

 

how so? how did it go down hill? iunno he seemed like an awesome dude when i first met him, and than we verbally agreed on price pending, that he wanted to take parts off the car and i was cool with that and than all of a sudden he said the car was pending to someone else, I mean i get it that you can get offers from all over the place but it would be nice to tell me that hey i got this offer which is comparable to yours and i just wanted to let you know that it can be pending between the both of you...that takes like 3 seconds to say you know, i was just pissed/sad at the same time when i read that it was pending to someone else in his thread AFTER the only thing holding us back was what parts he wanted to take off....and that i did not test drive the car yet...

 

iunno bro at this point i might not get the car and he can sell it to the girl because i think she might prolly be giving him more money than i can spend which is fine...but iunno my eyebrows just raised very high after he said it was pending to her after we already agreed on price and all that, i agree with him that he can get offers from everywhere but it would've been awesome if he could tell me that someone else might of offered maybe more than me so i can know and maybe counteroffer instead of just saying it was pending to someone else when everything was just pending to me since all i needed to really do was test drive the car and than get paper work done...

 

^I agree! If you were the first to come in with an offer it shouldn't pend to anyone until you've had a chance to know. I hope it goes through for you so that you can be done with it, but that sounds like BS to me.

all good man its cool, it bothers me to make it seem like the car is pending to someone else because of ME...i called him 40 times one after the other because i was so pissed because i am so damn close to buying a CAR FINALLY and than all of sudden he says its pending to someone else that frankly has almost the same situation as me, all she really needs to do is hand him money, but i haven't even gotten a chance to test drive it......he made it seem like i made him wait hours after he got off work, i called him at 3:30 out of decency because hey when you get off work you want to chill for a couple minutes before you do something again and i never told him i would call him at 2:30 right after he got off work.... and than when you get a text message and than i text you back right after and than he does not respond for 4+ hours than well i guess frankly that tells you something.....anyways if he sells the car to the girl awesome for her, but like i said i told him i was sorry and everything and he told me if i want to reschedule than we can meet so i told him hey im free today and if i get no response than well than it is what it is

 

jesus, stop stressing so much for a car. if it's meant to be than it'll happen. white is a better color than gg anyway

 

If you really want to know PM me or something. I tend not to have patience for indecisive people and that was the biggest problem for me. When you arrange a date to come get the car then one decides to take it to Canada for a car show instead it can really **** somebody off....but it turned out for the better.
