not if the only thing you have is the turbo, it needs the evo 9 inlet pipe. I think you can bend your oil lines to fit but thats probably a bad idea.

05' evo 8 turbos are the same as the IX turbos aren't they? they came with the 10.5 hotside

is it also true that when getting a new FMIC you lose HP unless you get it tuned? i was goin to buy a bigger FMIC but one of my friends told me that i would lose HP.

^^^ no, not necessarilly. kinda depends on the core/size, etc etc^^^

but to MAXIMIZE performance from an upgraded intercooler...a tune is necessary.
