lol i should have video taped everything from when i bought my car. the dealer didn't have a crazy irish/british accent though. And it took a whole month before the car fell apart lol FTW
My friend that did the swap said the DAPO probably used meth injection, blew the engine and swapped it out before he traded it in. Of course he knew all the issues with it, but just figured the next owner (that's me) could take care of it all.
evidence of all this... the garbage t-case, bolts were missing that connected the engine to the tranny, for how shotty the t-case was the clutch was (and still is) in decent shape, the t-case leaked profusely and a teflon tape-wrapped screw was cranked into the ACD bleeder valve... Fun stuff. Got all the replacement parts, engine is already in and running my friend is just waiting for the qtr to end before he has the time to put the t-case in (it went out completely a few months ago)

 

^dear god almighty! That is about the worst previous owner experience I've heard, at least with an Evo.

 

yeah, it doesn't get much better than that.
unless the tranny decides to go out lol I need to get it and my new t-case to sheptrans...
