Let me know too! Post it up in the general NW section and you might get some of us Northenders down!

Not questioning your judgement, but curious why you installed the turbo timer. It seems to be an early mod with a lot of new owners and I'm just wondering why.

Allows you to not have to stay in the car and wait at least 60secs for the turbo to spool/cool down after driving the car or really if you just drove it hard. Your car will keep running for a given time usually 60 seconds then turn off by itself. It helps to prolong the life of the turbo, but most the average everyday non enthusiast would just cut the car off immediately after they park and that actually will wear the turbo down quicker.

The reason i bought one is because it actually had one in it already but the last owner cut the controling unit from it for some odd reason and left it on auto mode. So when i installed the new alarm i couldn't lock the doors while the turbo timer was running which started to get really annoying there for i bought a new one. The reason i would buy a turbo timer in the first place would be because my friend drives a sti and we like to drive our cars together and as a result we usually end up driving the cars to there capabilities so I would like it to cool properly without me having to sit in the car for a set period of time.
