My red brembos need to be pink. Haha. Hey, I only want two things pink. Those and the under hood vent, not the one on top, the one under it, although I do need to repaint the black on the top. I'm having a brain fart and can't remember what those are actually called.

Mine are maroon, not quite pink... I'm going for black though, I'm hoping after this year's track time hahaha

They'll darken with a lot of heat, just get them hot to change colors lol...

This guy has what looks to be a car in pretty good shape.... maybe trade straight across?

Angie: I know how to strip down the factory caliper paint and can assist if you want to paint them.... (gasp) pink.

If your not going to take them off and have the car down for a week to powdercoat them pink then i'd reccomend a kit like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Temperature-Le...5129397&sr=8-1

The duplicolor kit is garbage. It is a much lower temp paint and will litteraly melt off the caliper if you get it hot enough (I know this from a little brake fire incident at the track)

not for arguement sake....
That's how we know my IX GSR has an aluminum roof... It was getting towed to the garage and when the tow truck driver went to put the magnetic lights on my roof, they wouldn't stick.
Speaking of which, this is how they towed my car lol my friend called and said he needed a flat bed truck... and this is what they sent him

Maybe aluminum roof was a factory option?

i donno...

There's been much debate on this. The owner's manual says no, but the aluminum roofs have special clips under the rain gutters for attaching roof racks, my IX has the same clips. Also, the technical notes on mitsubishi motors shows the aluminum roofs having ridges along the outside, that are evident on the MR's, but my car lacks...

Never mind, you said GSR, the GSR's also have the aluminum roofs, no debate here...

That car is pending sale already.

A trade straight across? Not really a straight trade when that's a 600hp GSX and she has NT. That's like saying trade your Evo for a geo metro straight up.

If gas goes back up to almost 5 dollars a gallon I would trade an evo for a metro, those things are so hard to find now.

3 years ago you couldn't give one of those away, now people won't sell them.

Putting the front tires on dollys is perfectly fine, you don't NEED a flatbed, you just don't want to go towing only one axle.

$2.85 I think at Woodinville Costco? It dropped to $2.79 but I'm not sure if it is still there this week.

Some of those flatbeds will do a number on your car if you're too low. I was on a reticulating flatbed when down in Auburn and it seemed to work well on a Spec-R drop.
