Got it. For the everyday driver, the drive off the freeway to home is usually enough to cool the turbo to within spec, but if you are driving it that hard to the end, and with the alarm issue I could see the point.

Well without sounding like a broken record a turbo timer does literally nothing for our cars, I laugh every time somebody calls that a mod. That was an old problem for oil cooled turbo's that run dino oil. Our cars are water & oil cooled and run 100% synthetic oil (well except for you M1 people ) Unless you are reaching temps in excess of 250F on the road you don't need to let it sit and cool...and I can guarantee if you are hitting 250F oil temps on public roads you aren't going to have a license very long...at the track though is where its nice to do a cool down lap but thats about it.

If (DB) stands for ***** bag then =

Doesn't matter. Topics like this shouldn't be brought up.

Keep those type of comments to yourself. Theres your input.

I had a sony handycam that took mini dv. it was good with firewire cable. but i got a new sony handycam that has a built in hard drive. it has night vision too for the track, and hold 60 gigs. i paid 300 for it at staples. it was on sale though. this one.

Its usually hard-wired into the ECU, attached to the ignition and depending on the model maybe also the handbrake. If they spent a little d/cing from the ignition should just be a matter of d/c the harness they bought (if they didn't buy the harness then this might be hard wired in as well) and then you'll have to trace the rest of the wires.

If you check around for the model, shouldn't be too hard to figure out where the wires are going though. I bought one back in 2005 and most of the time (other than hard tracking) it sits there in OFF mode .
